Where Can I Donate Food?
Across our community, neighbors are making sure families don’t face hunger alone as part of a coordinated community effort called the DeKalb County Hunger Relief Response started by Fortify Life alongside United Way of Dekalb County and the Community Foundation of DeKalb County. Each drop-off location, whether a business hosting a donation bin or a community pantry outside a church, represents someone saying “you matter, and you deserve to eat.”
Your generosity fuels immediate relief, dignity, and hope.
How It Works:
-
Choose a drop-off location
Use the list or filters below to find a community pantry, indoor pantry, or business donation site near you. -
Bring the right type of donation
-
Outdoor community pantries can take fresh items because they are emptied quickly.
-
Staffed indoor food pantries are best for shelf-stable, full meal items.
-
-
Drop off anytime
Community pantries are open 24/7. Business and indoor pantry hours are listed so you know when volunteers are available. -
Know that your impact is immediate
If a pantry is emptied all at once, it doesn’t always mean someone is taking advantage.
It often means someone was hungry, living with an outlook of scarcity, and trying to feed their family in a moment of survival.
Your donation meets them with compassion right when they need it most.
