Building a Stronger,
Coordinated Food System in DeKalb County
The Hunger Relief Alliance of DeKalb County is the county's collaborative network addressing food insecurity through shared data, aligned action, and collective accountability.
Why A Coordinated Alliance Is Needed
Food insecurity cannot be addressed by one organization alone. Without coordination, communities risk duplicating services in some areas while leaving gaps in others.
The DeKalb County Hunger Relief Alliance:
Shares real-time information between providers, community members, and volunteers.
Raises and seeks funding to strengthen the existing hunger relief network in DeKalb County.
Identifies geographic gaps, need for transportation, and food deserts within the county.
Unites local food pantries, meal providers, funders, volunteers, and more.
Strengthens rural access to food.
Get Involved
Together, we mobilize resources faster, communicate needs in real time, and make sure food reaches families when and where it’s needed most.
